JUNO partnerships help drive Canada’s cutting edge music scene as the award show travels for the first time since 2019

As part of its multi-year agreement, CBC returns as the Exclusive Broadcast and Content Partner for The JUNO Awards. Canadians can tune into the 2023 JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Music Canada at 6 p.m. MT/ 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 11 via CBCMusic.ca/junos, CBC Gem and globally on CBC Music’s Facebook and Youtube pages. The 2023 JUNO Awards, hosted for the second year by global superstar Simu Liu, will broadcast live from Rogers Place on Monday, March 13 at 6 p.m. MT/8 p.m. ET nationwide on CBC TV, CBC Radio One and CBC Music, and streamed live on CBC Gem, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos, and CBC Music’s Facebook and Youtube pages.
CBC Music returns as presenting sponsor of JUNOfest, taking over intimate stages and bustling pubs across Edmonton for three jam-packed nights. JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music will showcase talent from coast-to-coast and across all genres, ranging from indie all-stars to dynamic jazz ensembles.
JUNO Cup Presented by CBC Sports returns for the first time since 2019. The celebrity hockey game pits musicians and professional athletes against each other in support of MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity.

Again this year, TD has driven the TD JUNOS Submissions Access Program, which was created to support Canadian artists from underrepresented communities by helping with submission fees for the 2023 JUNO Awards. This year’s program funded almost 300 artist submissions, with 13 resulting in nominations including Francois Klark, Kairo McLean, Angelique Francis, Tommy Lefroy and more!
Activating at beloved events including The JUNO Awards Broadcast and JUNO Fan Fare, TD will invite fans to pose with a real JUNO for a unique digital takeaway.

After becoming the first-ever name in title partner of the JUNOS only fan voted award in 2022, TikTok returns with TikTok JUNO Fan Choice. TikTok provides the Official Voting Platform, allowing fans to vote in-app for their favourite JUNO-nominated artists or via TikTokJUNOFanChoice.ca for additional voting options. Voting is unlimited and fans are encouraged to vote by the minute, hour, day, and week for their favourite JUNO-nominated artists up until 9 p.m. EST the night of the broadcast March 13, 2022. The winner of TikTok JUNO Fan Choice will be announced live on the broadcast that evening.
Edmonton’s Best Hotels joins as a Lead Sponsor encouraging everyone to book their stay for 2023 JUNO Week via their website. The collective will also present Country Album of the Year at this year’s JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Music Canada and are conducting a contest for a chance to win a private rehearsal experience leading up to the JUNOS in addition to JUNOS tickets.

In the second year of its three-year-deal, Audio-Technica returns as the Official Pro Audio Partner of the JUNOS, providing audio equipment for the JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Music Canada, the 2023 JUNO Awards Broadcast and other JUNO Week events. Audio-Technica is the presenting sponsor of the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year Award which will be announced at the JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Music Canada on Saturday, March 11.
