TORONTO – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is thrilled to announce the list of sponsors driving the 53rd Annual JUNO Awards taking place in Halifax this March. Exclusive Broadcast and Content Partner

As part of its new multi-year agreement, CBC returns as the Digital Content Partner & Exclusive Broadcaster for The JUNO Awards. Canadians can tune into the 2024 JUNO Opening Night Awards Presented by Music Canada at 6 p.m. ADT/8 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 23 via CBCMusic.ca/junos, CBC Gem and globally on CBC Music’s YouTube page. The 2024 JUNO Awards, hosted by Canadian pop icon Nelly Furtado, will broadcast live from Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre on Sunday, March 24 at 9 p.m. ADT/8 p.m. ET nationwide on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos and CBC Music’s YouTube page. 

Premier Sponsor

Continuing its tradition of supporting Canadian music and celebrating its fans, Premier Sponsor TD Bank Group is back as a partner of the JUNO Awards for the 13th consecutive year. As part of their on-site activations, TD Fly Past the Line returns for the third consecutive year at Gate B & E of the Broadcast Venue, allowing guests to skip the lines by showing a TD credit or access card. At JUNO Songwriters’ Circle and the JUNO Opening Night Awards, TD will offer fans a chance to capture memorable moments with engaging photo opportunities. At the JUNO Awards Broadcast, attendees can visit the TD activation in the East concourse to take a photo with the JUNO for the Fans, celebrating everyone who supports Canadian music. Additionally, TD is running a contest for music enthusiasts to win the TD JUNOS Road Case filled with prizes from JUNO Broadcast performers, including merchandise, vinyl records, and autographed items. Maestro Fresh Wes served as the spokesperson for the campaign, featured in an online video created for the contest.

TD is also proud to continue the TD JUNOS Submissions Access Program for a third year, supporting independent Canadian artists from underrepresented communities by covering their submission fees for the 2024 JUNO Awards. This year, the program received over 400 applications and resulted in 12 nominations, providing close to $75,000 in funds to independent and underrepresented artists. The program aims to surpass last year’s total of 3 JUNO Award winners.

Lastly, for the fourth year in a row, at The 2024 JUNO Awards Broadcast, TD will present the Canadian Music Hall of Fame Induction and Performance, this year honouring Maestro Fresh Wes, as well as host the TD Zone where select JUNO Submissions Access Program Nominees will get to watch acts of the show from. The JUNO Comedy Show Presented by SiriusXM Canada on March 22 at Alderney Landing promises to be a highlight, showcasing top comedic talent. TikTok is back as the Official Voting Partner and Name-In-Title Sponsor of the TikTok JUNO Fan Choice award, solidifying its role as a Lead Sponsor. With in-app voting, TikTok has expanded voting to the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, making it easier than ever for fans to participate and vote for their favourite Canadian artist. Nissan steers into Halifax as the Official Vehicle of the 2024 JUNO Awards, adding a touch of electrification and sustainability to the event. In addition to presenting the award for Electronic Album of the Year at the JUNO Opening Night Awards, Nissan’s on-site activations include Red Carpet Artist Drop-offs for The Beaches, Lauren Spencer Smith, Kid Koala, Aysanabee and Crash Adams in the all-new, all-electric Nissan ARIYA, as well as an Industry Shuttle Activation providing transportation to JUNO guests staying at two of the host hotels. Nissan will also be present at the JUNO Block Party and the JUNO Awards Broadcast, giving consumers the chance to interact with the Nissan ARIYA up close. Plus Nissan ran a consumer contest at the Canadian International Auto Show in February, offering a winner and their guest the opportunity to attend Canada’s biggest week in music. After the JUNOS, Nissan will deliver a selected 2024 JUNO winner’s engraved statuette to them in a Nissan ARIYA, creating a memorable moment amplified on social media.

Audio-Technica booms back for the third year as the Official Pro Audio Provider of the 2024 JUNO Awards. They will present the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year award at the JUNO Opening Night Awards and will be the Official Pro Audio Partner to provide audio equipment for an array of JUNO Week events. On-site at Scotiabank Centre, Audio-Technica will feature product displays and on-the-spot consumer contests. They will also be present at the Red Carpet Lounge, networking with the industry, sharing endorsement opportunities, and capturing social content. Additionally, Audio-Technica will gift eight Jack Richardson Producer of the Year nominees a package full of Pro Audio equipment, in addition to running a consumer contest offering fans A-T gear and an unforgettable JUNOS experience. CBC Music returns as presenting sponsor of JUNOfest, a multi-genre music festival taking over legendary Halifax locales across the city for two jam-packed nights. JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music, will feature over 100 fan-favourite musicians and JUNO nominees in more than 10 venues across the east-coast hub. As part of their on-site events, CBC will bring an interactive photo activation to the Pacifico on both nights, enhancing the JUNOfest experience for attendees.

Don Julio Blanco Tequila helps set the stage for an unforgettable celebration during 2024 JUNO Week.
