Waypoint Becomes Official Convenience Store of The 2025 JUNO Awards

New partnership celebrates music, culture, and unforgettable fan experiences

TORONTO, ON (February 26, 2025) The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) is thrilled to announce Waypoint Convenience as the Official Convenience Store of The 54th Annual JUNO Awards. This exciting partnership marks Waypoint’s first collaboration with Canada’s Biggest Night in Music set to take place from March 27 to March 30, 2025, in Vancouver.

As part of this collaboration, Waypoint Convenience will bring music fans closer to the action through its exclusive Chart Topper contest. Held during the Summer of 2024, the contest offered the ultimate JUNO experience for one lucky winner and their guest, including:

  • VIP tickets to The JUNO Awards Broadcast and key JUNO Week events, including JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music and JUNO Songwriters’ Circle Presented by SOCAN & FACTOR, in association with Music Publishers Canada
  • An exclusive backstage tour and rehearsal experience
  • A chance to walk the JUNOS | Skip Orange Carpet alongside Canada’s top musicians

“Music has a unique way of bringing people together, and we’re proud to partner with an organization that shares our passion for connecting communities and Canadians. Supporting JUNO Week is a natural extension of the values that define the Waypoint brand.” said Amanda Simpson, Convenience Retail Brand Manager at Waypoint.

Waypoint will enhance the JUNO Week experience by celebrating the unifying power of music across its 222 locations nationwide through the official launch of its Waypoint Cares program—its proprietary giving-back initiative that supports MusiCounts at site level—while amplifying the message across social and digital channels. Additionally, Waypoint will offer JUNO-themed experiences during Waypoint’s Customer Appreciation Day at 350 SE Marine Drive in Vancouver on March 28th from 10am-1pm, allowing customers to connect with the magic of Canada’s biggest night in music.

“This exciting new partnership with Waypoint Convenience reflects our shared commitment to celebrating Canadian music and bringing fans closer to their favourite artists. From exclusive contests to unique fan experiences, we’re thrilled to have Waypoint as part of our journey to the JUNO Awards” said Allan Reid, CARAS President & CEO

The 54th Annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2025 will be hosted in Vancouver, BC from March 27 to Sunday, March 30, 2025 culminating with The JUNO Awards at Rogers Arena on Sunday, March 30, 2025, broadcast live on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos.
