Volunteer FAQ
The JUNO Awards are the largest Cultural Property in Canada, celebrating over 50 years of the best in Canadian music. The JUNOS travel to a new host city every year, working in new locations and with new local teams every time. Many details and schedules will be finalized in the new year and as we approach JUNO Week.
If you have a flexible schedule and are comfortable confirming specific details later in the process, this opportunity is a great fit for you! We work with volunteers to help unpack shipments, set up offices and event spaces, deliver items at venues across town, greet guests, survey attendees, assist at JUNOS events, and much more.
We are looking for skilled specialty team members to support our Transportation, Photography, Public Relations, Production, and JUNOfest teams. We utilize an interactive portal for applicants to learn more about JUNO Week and our volunteer opportunities.
The following are answers to specific and frequently asked questions. We will update this document as required and share revised versions with applicants throughout the program.

Q: What is the time commitment for volunteering?
A: Volunteers are primarily needed during JUNO Week, March 27-30, but there may also be some opportunities in the days leading up to the event and the Monday following. Each volunteer is asked to commit to a minimum of two shifts. Shifts vary in length however the majority are 4-5 hours long.

Q: When will I receive my schedule?
A: We are pleased to offer self-scheduling for most roles through the interactive volunteer portal. The volunteer selection process will roll out in the new year. Active volunteers will gain access to the schedule to sign up once selected, this will happen at the beginning of February. If selected, most volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up for their shifts of choice, based on availability at the time of scheduling.
Q: Can I be scheduled at the same time as my spouse, friend, etc.?
