The 2020 JUNO Awards media accreditation applications are now open

TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced media accreditation is now open for the 49th Annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week in Saskatoon, SK. from March 9-15, 2020.

Media accreditation will be open from Monday, January 13 at 11 a.m. ET to Friday, February 7 at 5 p.m. ET. Due to the volume of applications received, submissions will not be accepted after the deadline. Media will be notified of their accreditation status no later than Friday, February 21.

Media accreditation will only be open to media outlets and photo agencies. Requests from individuals or freelancers will not be considered. Exceptions will be made for freelance media (including photographers) who have submitted a Letter of Assignment/Legal Authorization as detailed in the Media Credentials application.

The week-long music celebration commences Monday, March 9, closing with the country’s biggest night in music – The 49th annual JUNO Awards Broadcast – which will air live across Canada on CBC, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, the free CBC Gem streaming service and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos on Sunday, March 15.
