TD Bank Group Extends Sponsorship with The JUNO Awards, Championing Fans and Canadian Musicians

Celebrating 14 Years of Supporting Canadian Music and Culture

TORONTO,  (February 10, 2025) – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) today announced that TD Bank Group has renewed its sponsorship as Premier Sponsor and Official Bank of the JUNO Awards, extending its continued exceptional commitment to celebrating Canadian music and culture. 2025 also marks the 14th consecutive year that TD has been a sponsor of The JUNOS, Canada’s leading music property.

TD’s renewed sponsorship includes exciting new initiatives designed to elevate both artist and fan experiences. For the first time, TD presents the TD JUNOS Debut Program, a new platform aimed at supporting and building a community among first-time JUNO nominees, ensuring they feel confident and ready to celebrate Canada’s Biggest Night in Music. Additionally, TD will continue its sponsorship of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, presenting this year’s induction and performance of iconic Canadian punk rock band Sum 41 during The 2025 JUNO Awards Broadcast.

Fans will also get even closer at this year’s JUNO Awards with the TD Stage at the Let’s Hear it Live JUNO Block Party – three electrifying days of concert-style showcases featuring fan-favourite local and JUNO Nominated artists, TD’s Priority Line Access, allowing eligible TD credit cardholders faster entry to the venue, and the new, exclusive TD Backstage Pass content which provides viewers who are watching from home with front row feels, wherever they are.

“Every year, from coast to coast, TD helps bring fans closer to the music and artists they love,” said Michael Armstrong, Vice President, North American Brand and Sponsorship. “We’re excited to return as the Premier Sponsor of Canada’s Biggest Night in Music, and hugely proud that this year marks our 14th year of supporting The JUNOS.”

“TD has been an incredible partner to The JUNO Awards and Canadian music. Their renewed commitment underscores their dedication to supporting emerging artists and fostering a vibrant music community. We are excited to celebrate this next chapter together and deliver exceptional experiences for artists and fans alike” from Allan Reid, CARAS President & CEO.

The JUNO Awards continue to showcase the diversity and talent of Canada’s music industry, with TD Bank Group’s longstanding sponsorship demonstrating a shared commitment to supporting artists and connecting fans to unforgettable experiences.

“We are so proud to once again be partnering with TD Bank Group to bring their commitment to Canadian music to life through integration into our live broadcast of the JUNO Awards,” says Kristin Hosick, Director, Business Communications, Content and Partnership Marketing, CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions. “This year’s execution will celebrate TD’s mission and create a shared experience that transcends the screen and celebrates the heart of Canadian music and artists across our platforms.”
