Over 50 Canadian musical acts expected to perform across the city of Saskatoon at JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music

TORONTO – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that passes for JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music are now on sale, available at ticketweb.ca. This year’s annual music celebration will be jam-packed with an impressive roster of Canadian artists across all genres. Over 50 musical acts including local Saskatoon artists, 2020 JUNO Award nominees, and some of the country’s top touring talent will hit the stage on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14.

“JUNOfest Presented by CBC Music always adds an extra layer of excitement and buzz at JUNO Week,” said Allan Reid, President and CEO, CARAS/The JUNO Awards & MusiCounts. “For two nights, Saskatoon will be graced with music from a mix of top talent, up-and-coming artists and undiscovered gems of all genres from across Canada. This is a great opportunity for people to see some of their most-loved artists and discover new favourites.”

JUNOfest passes offer priority access to all JUNOfest venues over two nights (subject to capacity). Passes are $30 each (plus tax and fees). Passes are on sale now at ticketweb.ca and may be available at the door of each venue. Select venues will also have all-ages shows.

JUNOfest 2020 is produced by Kirby Wirchenko, Executive and Artistic Director of Broadway Theatre.

This year’s festival will include the JUNOfest Jazz Showcase presented by CBC Music on Friday, March 13 and the Classical showcase presented by CBC Music on Saturday, March 14.

The 49th annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2020 will be hosted in Saskatoon, SK from March 9 through March 15, 2020, culminating in The JUNO Awards, on Sunday, March 15, at the SaskTel Centre, broadcast live on CBC, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, the free CBC Gem streaming service in Canada and globally at cbcmusic.ca/junos. It will also air as a live radio special on CBC Radio One, CBC Music, and the CBC Listen app.
