The members of Three Days Grace began bashing out punk chords when they were in their teens, carving a workmanlike yet energetic sound that fueled their live performances. Combining elements of angst-fueled alternative rock, metal, and grunge, the Canadian group quickly established themselves as lynchpins of the post-grunge movement.
