Born in London in 1988, Adele graduated from the BRIT School in 2006, signing with XL Recordings later that year. She won the Brit Award as the Critics’ Choice in 2008 following the release of her debut, 19. Her follow-up, 21, has to date sold over 30 million copies worldwide earning her a JUNO Award, various Grammys, Brit Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and an Academy Award for “Skyfall.”
