NEW details on 2020 JUNO Week events, taking place March 9-15 in Saskatoon, SK

TORONTO – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) today announced additional details for JUNO Week events taking place in Saskatoon, SK from March 9-15, culminating in The 2020 JUNO Awards on March 15. Canada’s largest celebration in music will be broadcast live from the SaskTel Centre at 8 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CST) across the country on CBC, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music and the CBC Listen app. The awards will also be available for audiences outside of Canada to stream at cbcmusic.ca/junos.

Below are NEW details announced for many exciting 2020 JUNO Week events to look forward to, including:

  • JUNO Fan Fare Presented by VIRGIN MOBILE on March 14 is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet, interact and even grab a few selfies with popular Canadian artists. This exciting afternoon, hosted by CBC Music’s Odario Williams at Midtown, will feature meet and greets with 2020 JUNO nominees Aaron Goodvin, Dallas Smith, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Lennon Stella, Lights, Meghan Patrick, Scott Helman and The Reklaws.   • The 2020 JUNO Awards Broadcast hosted by Alessia Cara, is taking place at SaskTel Centre with newly announced performances by Alexandra Stréliski, Ali Gatie, City and Colour, iskwē, Meghan Patrick and The Dead South. Canadian icon Anne Murray will be making her first appearance at The JUNO Awards since 2013 to induct Jann Arden into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.   • Calling all Fan Armies around the globe to cast their vote in the 18th annual JUNO Fan Choice Presented by TD, the only fan-voted JUNO Award category. Fans can vote for their favourite Canadian artist by sharing a custom hashtag on Twitter or voting at junofanchoice.ca until Sunday, March 15 at 9pm ET. The winner will be announced LIVE on The 2020 JUNO Awards on CBC.
