POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, permanent
START DATE: June 15, 2026 or earlier
COMPENSATION: $57,000 – $62,000 annually, paid biweekly

OVERALL POSITION

The Senior Coordinator, Academy Operations, plays a critical role in the delivery of the JUNO Awards submissions, nominations, and voting process. Building on core coordination responsibilities, this role supports the day-to-day workflow of the Academy Operations team, ensuring priorities are clear, timelines are met, and processes are executed accurately.

Working closely with the Director, Academy Operations, this role serves as a central point of coordination for the team and supports consistency, efficiency, and quality control throughout the awards process. This role works in close partnership with the other Senior Coordinator to ensure alignment across priorities and a cohesive, team-first approach to coordination and delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES

Workflow Coordination & Team Support

  • Coordinate day-to-day workflow across the Academy Operations team, ensuring tasks are prioritized effectively
  • Support the distribution of work across coordinators, particularly during peak periods
  • Monitor timelines and deadlines across all awards processes
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, or gaps in workflow and escalate as needed
  • Act as a first point of contact for coordinators for questions and issue resolution
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members

Nominating & Voting

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to review JUNO Award categories and genres annually
  • Execute and oversee JUNO Submissions verification to ensure eligibility criteria are met
  • Coordinate and support the Music Advisory Committee and voting processes
  • Assist in preparing for the opening of voting, including system testing, data validation, and ensuring accuracy across all submission and voting data
  • Support the production of assets and reports for the JUNO Nominee Announcement

CARAS Academy Delegates

  • Provide administrative support for the Academy Delegate program
  • Support delegate communications and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and track participation
  • Assist with planning and execution of industry events and initiatives

JUNO Week Ticketing

  • Support and oversee ticketing administration for JUNO Week industry and public events
  • Assist with coordinating industry ticket requests and nominee ticket fulfillment
  • Collaborate with nominees, labels, and management teams on ticketing needs
  • Support seating arrangements across JUNO Week events

Customer Service, Administration & Data Reporting

  • Provide direct customer service and support stakeholder inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Maintain and analyze data across submissions and voting processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of information
  • Support reporting, data tracking, and basic analysis to identify discrepancies, monitor trends, and inform operational decision-making
  • Assist with cross-departmental initiatives as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered a strong asset.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a coordination or operations role
  • Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of and experience within the Canadian music industry is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve within structured processes
  • Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
