In less than a decade, Canadian music producer and songwriter Henry Walter, better known as Cirkut, has gone from aspiring beat maker to a pop perfectionist ushering icons and rising stars into the future of the genre. He stands today as one of the most successful producers in contemporary music.
After opening The Dream House studio in Toronto, now a cultural hotbed in the city, he moved to Los Angeles to officially join Dr. Luke’s production team. This relationship led to hit records, such as Katy Perry’s “Roar,” Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Nicki Minaj's "Only" and many more. Recent accolades include, “Sugar” by Maroon 5 and R. City's “Locked Away,” which Cirkut co-wrote and produced. His production style showcases an ear for detail and texture that gives a flawless finish to simple, catchy, and party-friendly compositions. His adaptable demeanour in the studio gives way to a lead-from-the-back approach, allowing his collaborators to shine as well, knowing that the final product is in the right hands to become a hit.
