Freddie Dredd emerged from the Doomshop/Sixtet Collective, gaining traction in 2019 with his hypnotic blend of ethereal samples and aggressive production. His breakout single “Cha Cha” earned over 50M Spotify streams, followed by the viral bossa nova–infused “Opaul.” Hailing from Oshawa, Ontario, Freddie carved a lane with lo-fi textures, vintage samples, and dark, gritty lyrics. His sound channels phonk and Southern hip-hop, with metal influences from Korn to Meshuggah. In 2020, he dropped his debut RCA EP Suffer, produced with Ryan C, drawing from horrorcore and Memphis dark trap. His 2022 debut album Freddie’s Inferno featured the Gold-certified hit “Limbo,” which exploded in gaming circles and hit Spotify’s Global Top 10. The album’s deluxe edition included fan-favorite “Five Nights” with Danny Brown. In 2023, Freddie toured with $uicideBoy$ on GREY DAY, hitting venues like The Forum and MSG. His 2024 mixtape Cease & Disintegrate, produced by Calder, pushed sonic boundaries with industrial basslines and jump-scare synths. In 2025, Freddie co-headlined a U.S. tour with Pouya and expanded into Europe with festival sets and solo shows.
