yung kai is a Canadian alternative indie-pop artist known for his dreamy, emotional sound inspired by artists like keshi and Wave to Earth. Due to his background, yung kai split his childhood between shanghai and Vancouver, blending East and West in his storytelling. After debuting in 2022, he broke through with his viral hit “blue” in 2024, earning over 2 billion streams and a gold certification in the U.s. and Canada. Now managed by Flood Division and repped by Wasserman globally, yung kai recently made his U.s. festival debut at 88 rising’s Head in the Clouds.
