Caity Gyorgy is an internationally recognized two-time JUNO Award winning Canadian jazz vocalist, composer and lyricist. She has released four albums, three EPs, several stand alone singles, and has toured across Canada, the United States, Japan and Mexico. She currently releases music with New York City based record label La Reserve Records with whom she released both of her JUNO award winning records “Now Pronouncing” (2021) and “Featuring” (2022) as well as her JUNO nominated album “You’re Alike, You Two” (2023) and her most recent release “Hello! How Are You” (2024). She has performed and recorded with notable musicians including Christine Jensen, Emmet Cohen, Pat LaBarbera, Jocelyn Gould, Ira Coleman, Allison Au, Joe LaBarbera, and Postmodern Jukebox to name a few. Caity is an avid writer and composes songs in the style of the Great American Songbook. Her compositions have been sung by vocalists worldwide, and have won multiple awards including the Grand Prize in the jazz category of the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. She is also a sought after clinician and is currently on faculty as a vocal jazz instructor at the Yukon Summer Music Camp in Whitehorse, Yukon and the Interprovincial Music Camp in McKellar, Ontario.
