Akeel Henry is a multi-talented, Grammy-nominated, JUNO award-winning producer, engineer, and instrumentalist from Toronto. He grew up playing in the church, quickly becoming a piano virtuoso. Mentored by Babyface and trained by Noah “40” Shebib of OVO Sound, Henry has produced records such as Giveon’s “For Tonight,” Jazmine Sullivan’s “Hurt Me So Good,” John Legend’s “Splash” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Jhene Aiko), and WizKid’s “Steady.” In the last year, he has also produced songs for Megan Thee Stallion, Victoria Monet, Chlöe Bailey, and Ari Lennox, including her recent single “Smoke.” He has toured with Daniel Caesar, executive produces Canadian R&B act LOONY, and is heading into 2025 with a strong lineup of artists he is producing for.
