Ammoye is a unique multidimensional vocalist raised in reggae. Originally from Clarendon, Jamaica, now residing in Toronto, Canada, this 6X JUNO Award Nominee, is consistently invited to perform at high-profile events and festivals. With catchy melodies she reveals her butter vocal range and an insatiable character. She is easily cast as one of Canada’s best reggae and fusion vocalists and considered by many music tastemakers as Canadian reggae’s “Next Big Thing”. Becoming a highly endorsed artist has earned Ammoye performances at major festivals and events. She has shared the stage with reggae moguls such as: Ziggy Marley, Freddie McGregor, Chronixx, Romain Virgo, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Chris Martin, Tarrus Riley, Barrington Levy and Exco Levi just to name a few. She has been invited to perform around the world, including on behalf of Canada in 2019, as an independent artist at The Grammy Showcase during Grammy week in Los Angeles. Outside of North America she has showcased at the legendary New Skool Rules Music Festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In 2021, Ammoye made Reggae music history, opening the JUNO awards, performing alongside Kirk Diamond and Tome on Canada’s biggest night in music. In 2022, Ammoye was invited to perform at COMAfest in Brazil, where she delivered two stellar performances
