Dance music was always in the background of Frank Walker’s life, until it came to – and in fact became – the fore. Walker spent his college years establishing himself as a go-to DJ in the bar and club scene at his university near Toronto. After graduating, Walker entered the corporate world at a marketing job, playing weekend gigs until he quit in 2014 to focus on music. While spending all his time either producing or playing shows, he caught his big break – meeting Kygo’s manager, Myles Shear. Since then, Walker has played major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Japan, various Palm Tree Music Festivals and premier nightclubs. 2023 marked his biggest touring year to date as he hit the Vegas spotlight as a support act for Kygo’s residency and scored a mainstage slot at Ultra Miami. These increasingly larger sets showcase the anthemic, melody-driven style that’s become Walker’s signature. Walker’s catalog has clocked over 400 million global streams and a flurry of his tracks have hit charts including the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. Walker added to that catalog with his first release of 2023, the sonically euphoric, lyrically bittersweet Ella Henderson collab “I Go Dancing.”
