Toronto native Akeel Henry is a multi-talented, Grammy Nominated, JUNO-nominated, Multi-Platinum selling producer and instrumentalist. Having grown up in the church, Henry quickly became a piano virtuoso. Mentored by Babyface and trained by Noah “40” Shebib of OVO Sound, he’s steadily made a name for himself with releases with John Legend, Ty Dolla $ign, Wizkid, Giveon, Jeremih, Trey Songz, Jhené Aiko, Jazmine Sullivan, Toni Braxton, Swae Lee & Kid Ink, to name a few. He’s also performed live, accompanying artists Shawn Mendes, DVSN & Daniel Caesar, including the recent ‘Case Study 01’ tour throughout North America & Europe. Akeel is also the executive producer of the buzzing Canadian R&B act LOONY.
