Stephan Moccio is a multi-Grammy and Academy Award-nominated composer, Decca Records recording artist and producer. He co-wrote and co-produced the two end credit songs for Fifty Shades of Grey and its soundtrack: “Earned It”(The Weeknd) and“I Know You” (Skylar Grey). He co-wrote Celine Dion’s hit “A New Day Has Come” (2002) which reached and held the number one spot on the Billboard AC Chart for a record-breaking 21 weeks. He also co-wrote Miley Cyrus’ #1 single “Wrecking Ball” from her 2013 studio album Bangers.
For the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Moccio co-wrote the theme song “I Believe” performed by Nikki Yanofsky. He has collaborated with a diverse roster of artists including Avril Lavigne, Seal, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, Jason Derulo, Jamie Cullum and Jon Bellion,to name a few. Produced by Moccio and recorded in solitude at his Laurel Canyon home studio,his 3rd studio album for Decca, Lionheart, continues the intensely intimate narrative begun on his acclaimed album Tales of Solace. To date, Moccio’s solo piano works have streamed globally over 400 million.
