2023 BREAKTHROUGH GROUP OF THE YEAR I Harm & Ease | | The JUNO Awards

Harm & Ease is a Rock & Roll band founded in Burlington, Ontario made up of: Rylan Whalen (Vocals) , Danny Lopez (Guitar), John Goodblood (Bass/Guitar/Vocals) and Alex Hammett (Drums). The band spent 5 years in Argentina and have recently relocated back to Toronto, Canada. They are currently promoting and touring their new EP “Camino Loco”. The band’s sound is as unique as their story. They have worked with several artists and producers such as Walk Off The Earth, Joe Chiccarelli, and more.

The album title, translating to “Crazy Road”, signifies the journey that the band has travelled to get here. It has led the band to a Top 10 Rock radio single and over 5.5 million career streams. The EP also includes the single “Lemonade”, featuring JUNO Award-nominated artist Fefe Dobson.

Camino Loco was produced by SOCAN award-winning producer Tawgs Salter (Dear Rouge, Lights,), Gianni Luminati (Snoop Dog, Steve Aoki,), Justin Koop (Silverstein) Tokyo Speirs (Walk off the Earth, USS,) and Mike MacAllistar (Mothica, Julie Hardy).

“Camino Loco is the sound of an underdog story,” explains Danny Lopez. “A band of misfits hailing from South America finding their place in the landscape of chart-topping rock music.”
