Johann Deterville, professionally known as YogiTheProducer aka Yogi, is a St. Lucian born record producer who now calls Toronto home. He has produced & engineered for artists such as Kehlani, Jessie Reyez, Jahkoy, Jon Vinyl, Kardinal Offishall, Kayo, Sean Leon, Keshia Chanté, Savannah Ré, Son real, J-Soul, and 11:11 to name a few. Yogi has been nominated for multiple JUNO awards. He is also working closely with JUNO awards winner Jordon Manswell on multiple projects. He is also responsible for Kardinal Offishall’s single “Winner” which has been making its rounds on radio.
Yogi sits in the lane of an R&B producer, as well as mixing/recording engineer, but can still be found producing Dancehall, Reggae and EDM just to name a few. His skills are definitely not limited. Recently Yogi produced for Jon Vinyl and Jahkoy he also produced 4 records on Keshia Chanté latest album titled “Unbound 02” which is currently available on all streaming platforms. Some of his other work includes scoring commercials for Air Canada Jazz, Sound Design for Beer Stop, Degree, Sportsnet and Gerber.
