2019 JACK RICHARDSON PRODUCER OF THE YEAR | Thomas D'Arcy | | The JUNO Awards

Thomas D’Arcy is a producer, engineer, writer and performer from Toronto who has worked with bands such as The Sheepdogs, July Talk, Yukon Blonde, k-os and BROS. Previously, D’Arcy was in the band Small Sins (Astralwerks/Boompa!), and spent much of the late 2000s touring the world as an artist. At home, he maintained a small studio, composing or licensing over 100 pieces of music to film and television. In 2014, he began using his space to work with bands for the first time, co-founding Taurus Recording. He continues to co-write/produce for various artists (Lanikai, Modern Space, Tommy Hawkins, White Hot Guilt), and signed a publishing deal with Arts & Crafts in 2016. In 2018, he converted a Toronto church into a new studio space for Taurus Recording, where he continues to work on future releases.
