Exco Levi is the first recipient in the Reggae Recording of the Year Category to receive a JUNO Award for four consecutive years.

Levi received his fourth award in 2015 JUNO Awards for “Welcome the King”and the 2014 JUNO Award for “Strive” featuring Kabaka Pyramid. Exco previously won for “Storms of Life” in 2013 and the controversial “Bleaching Shop” in 2012.

Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Levi, an ardent soccer player, came to Toronto, Canada, in 2005. Influenced by Bob Marley, Sizzla and Peter Tosh. Exco’s unique sound pays tribute to the founders with a modern twist.

His first release in Canada, “Oh Canada,” in 2007, placed him in view of the Canadian music industry. On a mission to build his career and take his music globally, Exco Levi toured Europe twice, played Reggae On The River, Canada’s major reggae festivals.

Exco Levi release an EP April 2014, Words of the Wise, produced by Penthouse and distributed by VP Records and released his first album, Country Man, March 18, 2015 on his High Priest Label, produced by Donovan Germaine, and distributed by Warner Music Canada.
