2015 | Rock Album of the Year (Sponsored by SiriusXM Canada) | Big Wreck | | The JUNO Awards

Returning to the studio for the first time since the success of 2012’s Albatross, Big Wreck approached the making of their fourth full-length album, Ghosts, with a renewed sense of wonder toward the very things that turned them on to rock and roll in the first place. “This time around, it really feels like we are a band that has a direction and a thing that we are going for,” says Ian. “I truly love each of the songs on this record equally because in my mind they all came from and are going to the same place.” Big Wreck’s first single and title track off the album debuted top 5 at rock radio, and the album Ghosts debuted at #5 on the Canadian Albums Chart. Ghosts also debuted at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, which is the band’s highest position on that chart in their history. Followed by an extremely successful North American tour in numerous sold-out venues, the band’s success story has seemingly only just begun. The walls are down, the chemistry is electric and the output is their most fearless brand of rock and roll to date.
