2015 | Reggae Recording of the Year | Exco Levi | | The JUNO Awards

Exco Levi is the first recipient in the Reggae Recording of the Year Category to receive a JUNO Award for 3 consecutive years. Levi received his third award in 2014s JUNO Awards for “Strive” featuring Kabaka Pyramid. Exco previously won for “Storms of Life” in 2013 and the controversial “Bleaching Shop” in 2012.
Born in Manchester, Jamaica, Levi came to Toronto in 2005. Heavily influenced by Bob Marley, Sizzla and Peter Tosh. Exco has come up with a unique sound that pays tribute to the founding fathers of Reggae with a modern twist.
In 2007, Exco recorded his first song in Canada, titled “Oh Canada”. This placed him in full view of the Canadian music industry. This hard working artist, on a mission to build his career and take his music globally, Exco Levi returned to Europe for his second tour in two years in spring 2014, performing seven shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland over 14 days.
Exco Levi had his first EP release on April 29th. Words of the Wise produced by Penthouse and distributed by VP Records and will release his first album Country Man Spring 2015.
