When The Road Hammers first hit the country music airwaves in 2004, the response from fans was immediate. In 2005, their self-titled debut album soared to #1 on the Canadian country album charts and garnered the band multiple CCMA Award nominations, a CCMA Award for Group or Duo of the Year, a 2005 JUNO Award for Country Recording of the Year and the 2006 CCMA Awards for Group or Duo of the Year and Best Video. Their latest album, Wheels, was co-produced by Scott Baggett (Alison Krauss, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt) and band member Jason McCoy, and has resulted in three smash hit singles “Get On Down The Road”, “Mud”, which was certified GOLD, as well as the most recent single “I’ve Been Everywhere”. With brand new music under their belt, it will only provide more fuel for the band’s high-octane live shows, performances that have earned them a reputation as one of the most energetic and entertaining bands in the business.
