All agree that Ariane Roy, a figurehead of the Quebec City scene, winner of the Revelation of the Year award at the ADISQ Gala 2022, twice nominated for JUNO awards, Révélation Radio-Canada 2021-2022, recipient of the Prix Félix-Leclerc in 2022 and the Prix Espoir FEQ to mention but a few, is clearly destined to shine among the biggest stars. Following the release of her debut album, medium plaisir (2022), Ariane has made a name for herself, burning up stages all over Quebec with an effervescent show that showcases her inner dazzling nature.
The singer-songwriter returns with Dogue, a second album that stands out for its singularity. Co-produced with Félix Petit (Hubert Lenoir, Les Louanges, Bonnie Banane), Dogue shows its teeth, yes to smile, but at whose expense? It doesn’t matter, because the inner beast can’t resist lying down in front of the fangs, hoping to join the pack.
