2026 TRADITIONAL INDIGENOUS ARTIST OR GROUP OF THE YEAR I Bad Eagle | | The JUNO Awards

Bad Eagle has been here four years strong. We started with one goal: to give our younger brothers and sisters a way to see the world through song, voice, and to share our style with as many people as we can in Indian Country. We were established in the Coast Salish territories in British Columbia, all of us originating from First Nation communities along the Frasier River but now we represent the entire West Coast and parts of Alberta. We travel across Indian Country, bringing our drum, voice, and wherever we go. From big arenas to small community halls, we sing for the people. We build this group and share our music and to bring inspiration and hope to the next generation. That they become involved in their own communities and have a chance to learn, grow and see that there is more good out here than trouble and more world beyond the reserve we live in.
