2026 ALTERNATIVE ALBUM OF THE YEAR I Yves Jarvis | | The JUNO Awards

Yves Jarvis’ widely celebrated album All Cylinders is the winner of the 2025 Polaris Music Prize. In addition to the Polaris Prize Album win, “Gold Filigree” was shortlisted for the 2025 inaugural SOCAN Polaris song Prize.

All Cylinders is the golden, textured new album by one of Montreal’s most original musicians. Yves Jarvis, aka Jean-sébastien Yves Audet, is no longer simply a recording artist: now, he says, he’s a songwriter. These 16 tracks of brazen songcraft and pure musicianship are things he played himself, without a single additional contributor (“Not even one!”), and see the 5X-Polaris-nominated artist turn with pleasure to the stuff of verses, choruses, hooks, and hits.

All Cylinders has garnered extensive coverage from CBC, The Globe and Mail, Pitchfork, The star, CTV, Exclaim!. Now, iHeart Radio, Brooklyn Vegan, stereogum, The Canadian Press, Range, NPR, CLAsH, The FADER, Paste, and many more. The album has received extensive CBC Radio play, and has accrued over 1.5 million streams, adding to Jarvis’ 7 million streams across albums and platforms.

2025 saw Yves Jarvis performing with Olivia Dean and Fabiana Palladino across Canada and the Us, with highlights that include stops at Toronto’s Massey Hall and Great Hall, Montreal’s Théâtre Beanfield, Philadelphia’s Theatre of Living Arts, and Music Hall of Williamsburg.
