Vocalist Caity Gyorgy and pianist Mark Limacher have been close collaborators since December 2021 when they first performed together at BuckingJam Palace in Calgary, Alberta and instantly got along, both personally and musically. Their musical partnership comprises both playing and writing music together. They frequently tour internationally and have performed at many highly esteemed venues and festivals including The Cotton Club in Tokyo, The Northern Lights Festival in Ajijic, Mexico, The Monterey Jazz Festival, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Festival international de jazz de Montréal, to name a few. Their discography includes three albums; “You’re Alike, You Two” in 2022, “Asking for Trouble” in 2025, and their co-written studio orchestra album “Caity Gyorgy with Strings: Arranged and Conducted by Mark Limacher” in 2025. They have also released several stand alone singles with studio orchestras, all arranged and conducted by Limacher. In addition to his arranging work for their recorded material, Limacher has written arrangements that Gyorgy has sung with ensembles such as the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra, the and the Penderecki String Quartet.
