Arcade Fire emerged from Montreal in the early 2000s, quickly earning acclaim as “the greatest live band in the world” (Daily Telegraph). Their landmark debut Funeral (2004) was hailed by Rolling Stone as the #1 album of the 00’s and topped Best of the Decade polls around the world.
Their 2007 follow-up Neon Bible debuted at #2 in the US and UK, earning critical praise and a Juno Award. The Suburbs (2010) debuted #1 in seven countries and won Album of the Year at the Grammys, Best International Album at the BRITs, and Album of the Year at the 2011 Junos, and the Polaris Music Prize for best Canadian album. 2012 saw the band contribute to the soundtrack of The Hunger Games and scored Spike Jonze’s Her (2013), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Score.
Reflektor (2013), co-produced with James Murphy, featured David Bowie and topped charts globally. Everything Now (2017), produced with Thomas Bangalter and Steve Mackey, debuted at #1 in the US, Canada and the UK.
Their sixth album, WE (2022), produced by Nigel Godrich, debuted at #1 across multiple countries. Most recently, Pink Elephant (2025) showcases a mystical punk sound across 10 tracks, produced by Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, and Daniel Lanois. Recorded in New Orleans, it offers a layered sonic journey unfolding to reveal new dimensions with each successive listen.
