Multiple CFMA winning Toronto songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Abigail Lapell returns with Anniversary, an evocative collection of original love songs co-produced by Lapell and Great Lake Swimmers’ Tony Dekker. Dekker helped shape the sessions’ spooky, resonant sound and also lent his voice to a couple of spellbinding duets. The album has garnered over 1 million streams and extensive radio play with CBC, NPR, Folk Alley, CKCU, KCSN, WRLT, WDWD, and many more.

Lapell has amassed over 60 million streams across platforms, hit #1 on Canadian Folk Radio and has won 3 CFMA awards. She was nominated for four 2024 CFMAs, including Solo Artist of the Year and Contemporary Album of the Year for Anniversary. Her music has been featured in film and television including Resident Alien and The Way Home, which correlated with over 50,000 Shazams.
