07 | 2016 | Breakthrough Artist | Coleman Hell | | The JUNO Awards

Hometown: Thunder Bay, Ontario

Coleman Hell has crafted a genre-defying monster of a hit with his affecting single “2 Heads.” The mesmerizing track has become a multi-format smash, surpassing 60 million global streams on Spotify and Double Platinum sales status in Canada. The song has also been nominated for 3 Canadian Radio Music Awards (AC, CHR, MODERN ROCK).

Along with his bandmates, La+ch and Michah, Coleman has spent the past few years paying his dues, offering genre-busting songs and videos that always seem to break new ground. Veering from house to alt-pop, folk-electronica and more by cleverly fusing beats atop the catchiest of song-writing shreds, Hell has a knack for pushing the boundaries of existing pop frameworks and delivering memorable choruses to boot. Anchored by his inspiring and unorthodox approach, the Thunder Bay native has forged a prolific reputation as an adventurous outlier with a diverse palate.

Coleman Hell will be performing at the JUNO Awards in Calgary on April 3rd in support of his nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. He is currently touring North America and will be supporting Twenty One Pilots on their upcoming Canadian tour. Coleman's debut album will be released later this year via 604 Records in Canada and Columbia Records in the rest of the world.
