April 14, 2021 – Out of an abundance of caution in response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and its partners, including CBC and Insight Productions, have made the decision to move the 50th Anniversary JUNO Awards in Toronto to June. Originally scheduled for May 16th, The JUNO Awards will now broadcast nationwide on Sunday, June 6 on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music and globally on CBCMusic.ca/junos. More information on performers, presenters and JUNO Week virtual events will be announced in the coming weeks.
