Back for a second year is the JUNOS Live Music Labs at the Ontario Science Centre! JUNO-nominated artists will be talking candidly about the process of songwriting. This year’s theme is The Science of a Song. Get ready to join in and learn from the experts!
Lyrical Lovin’ with Carly Rae Jepsen and JRDN

Singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen and R&B recording artist JRDN are naturals at singing songs from the heart. Alongside their guitarists, Carly Rae and JRDN will discuss how they blend confessional lyrics with the sweet sounds of a guitar to create a catchy hit song.
Power of Words with Chantal Kreviazuk & Raine Maida

In addition to being talented JUNO Award-winning musicians in their own right, Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida are considered some of the most gifted songwriters in music today. This talented husband and wife duo share many songwriting credits, working with artists such as Avril Lavigne, Carrie Underwood, Drake, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Martha Wainwright, Pink, Ron Sexsmith and The Veronicas. Get ready for a rare opportunity to learn about the craft of songwriting from the pros.
The Offishall Word with Kardinal Offishall

Toronto-born, Canadian “hip hop ambassador” Kardinal Offishall is known for his distinctive high-energy blend of soul, reggae, and dancehall style. Join this JUNO winner as he shares his musical journey, from his start in rap at the age of 8 to collaborating with artists like Akon, Busta Rhymes, Estelle, Timbaland and T-Pain.
Breaking it Down With Webster

Join members of the highly energetic, JUNO-nominated band Down With Webster as they dissect one of their most popular songs. Inspired by different influences but united by their love of music, this 6-man hip-hop/rock band from Toronto will show how they mix all of their musical styles together to build a unique sound.
