Toronto, ON – We can’t stop this thing we started! Rock, pop, R&B, and country are rolling into Vancouver and are ready to bring down the house. As announced last night on ETALK, CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) confirmed today five additional acts performing in CTV’s broadcast of THE 2009 JUNO AWARDS. The artists, all 2009 nominees, include the soulful Divine Brown; singer-songwriter and four-time JUNO Award-winner Sam Roberts; JUNO Award-winning songstress Serena Ryder; indie-rockers The Stills; and upcoming country music star Crystal Shawanda. Comic superstar Russell Peters, who won a 2008 Gemini Award as host last year, once again helms THE 2009 JUNO AWARDS, airing live from Vancouver’s General Motors Place on Sunday, March 29 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV (visit junos.ctv.ca to confirm local broadcast times).
