Toronto, ON – CTV is taking The 2008 JUNO Awards and Canadian music to a whole new level – on conventional, specialty, broadband – and now radio. CTV and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) confirmed today that The 2008 JUNO Awards will be simulcast by CTVglobemedia’s CHUM Radio Division on radio stations across the country. Hosted by international comedic sensation Russell Peters, The 2008 JUNO Awards airs live in High Definition and 5.1 Surround Sound on Sunday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET from Calgary’s Pengrowth Saddledome on CTV and CTV HD East/West (tape delayed in Western Canada; see below for local broadcast times).
