Toronto, ON – CTV and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today the addition of a special performance by all five of this year’s JUNO Award nominees for Country Recording of the Year. Canadian country artists Aaron Lines, Gord Bamford, Johnny Reid, Paul Brandt and Shane Yellowbird – four of whom are Alberta natives – will pay tribute to the JUNO Awards host city and province, Canada’s heartland of country music, in a special segment on the broadcast. Hosted by Russell Peters, The 2008 JUNO Awards airs Sunday, April 6 on CTV from Calgary’s Pengrowth Saddledome.
